Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months prior to moving to Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of roles in acting, such as local independent movies and commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion to act. Following her move from New York, in 2001 she landed her first acting role in the show All My Children. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. De La Garza was nominated for several Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger twin brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is older than her. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano was seven years young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of just four girls. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical version from Jane Eyre.
